My Fellow NHCCM Members, we have almost completed another year with many successes. Many of our members have been helping out a lot in order to make the NHCCM more prominent and more known throughout the state, and New England region.
CONCORD, NH: It was a big day for New Hampshire PEG Access (Public, Education and Government) TV stations on Saturday, October 20th, when the New Hampshire Coalition for Community Media (NHCCM) held its inaugural NHCCM Honors Awards celebration at Concord High School. Hosted by Concord Community TV, the awards event provided the opportunity for community TV stations throughout the state to recognize volunteers, and producers who have made significant contributions to their media centers.
TelVue Corporation's Regional Sales Representative Charlie Paige made an excellent presentation at today's NHCCM general meeting. For months, the NHCCM Board has been working with TelVue to develop a file sharing system that would allow member access centers and their producers to (more easily) upload content to a server that can then be available to all other centers to air in their communities. And Paige was on hand to give a first look at what this new service would offer.
The NHCCM is a statewide, non-profit organization formed for the purpose of supporting and fostering Public, Educational and Government (PEG) access television in the state of New Hampshire. The group is comprised of access center managers, local producers and volunteers of all kinds who have an interest in promoting and preserving 1st Amendment Rights of Free Speech through PEG Access Television. The NHCCM usually meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.
